The Benet Academy Redwings softball squad (Lisle, IL), was routed 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout with the host Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL)
The Trojans (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Red Devils go into the West Suburban - Silver bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Hinsdale Central toppled Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 15-1, in a league bout.
The Redwings now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Glenbard South for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 26. Benet Academy will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-4.
