Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Park Tudor for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26.

With the loss, Blackford falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to face the Panthers in a Central Indiana challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Eastbrook lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN)
