Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Railsplitters now sport a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Lincoln will face a Dragons squad coming off a 9-8 league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Bloomington falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Purple raiders travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to face the Wildcats in a Big Twelve challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 14-6. Normal West lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Moline (Moline, IL)
