East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeKalb for a Northeast Eight challenge on Wednesday, April 26. East Noble will face a Barons squad coming off a 14-2 league win over New Haven (New Haven, IN). The Barons record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Elkhart falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Glenn (Walkerton, IN) to face the Falcons in a Northern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 2-10. Glenn lost 10-1 in their recent league challenge against South Bend Clay (South Bend, IN)
