The Triad Knights softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting East St. Louis Flyers to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Triad moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Mississippi Valley game on Wednesday, April 26. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 7-6. Waterloo lost 4-3 in their recent league game against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL)

In their next game, the Flyers clash with the Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL) in a Southwestern game, on Thursday, April 27. East St. Louis will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Lancers come into the game with a 16-6 record after their 5-0 league win over Alton (Alton, IL).
