Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Lawrenceburg

April 25, 2023: Liberty, IN 47353

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) and the visiting Lawrenceburg Tigers (Lawrenceburg, IN), saw Union County's softball squad nip Lawrenceburg by a count of 7-3.

The Patriots now sport a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 26. Union County will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Lawrenceburg falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host East Central (St. Leon, IN) to face the Trojans in a Eastern Indiana match on Wednesday, April 26. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-9. East Central won 4-2 in their recent league match against Rushville (Rushville, IN)
