Lawrenceville Indians (Lawrenceville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richland County for a Little Illini challenge on Thursday, April 27. Lawrenceville will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Hutsonville/Palestine (Palestine, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, North Knox falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to battle the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Shakamak lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against North Daviess (Elnora, IN)
