West Virginia High School Softball - Lewis County bounces Nicholas County

April 25, 2023: Weston, WV 26452

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) and the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), witnessed Lewis County's softball squad tip Nicholas County by a count of 10-6.

The Minutemen now sport a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Clay-Battelle for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 26. Lewis County will face a Cee Bees squad coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Cee Bees record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Nicholas County moves to 8-12 on the season. The Grizzlies host Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 26. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 16-4. Greenbrier East lost 10-2 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Coal City, WV)
