Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth Academy for a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Marian Catholic will face a Roadrunners squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Minooka falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to face the Tigers in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Joliet West won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against West Aurora (Aurora, IL)
