New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 26. New Lexington will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Marietta falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 1-18. St. Clairsville lost 18-5 in their recent league challenge against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH)
