In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons softball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Sacred Heart Academy Sharks.
With the triumph, Niagara-Wheatfield moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Hamburg (Hamburg, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, April 29.
