Tri-County Cavaliers (Wolcott, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Central for a Midwest challenge on Thursday, April 27. Tri-County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Rensselaer Central falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to South Newton (Kentland, IN) to face the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 0-11. South Newton lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Watseka (Watseka, IL)
