The West Allegheny Indians baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Blackhawk Cougars to 2 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.

The Indians (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts go into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Chartiers Valley gained a win over Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA), 1-0, in a league match.

The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats go into the WPIAL 4A 1 match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Beaver was overwhelmed by Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA), 10-1, in a non-league match.
