Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Clark County Indians (Kahoka, MO), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mendon Unity upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL) to battle the Rockets in a West Central test on Monday, April 29. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 6-8.

With the defeat, Clark County falls to 12-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to battle the Panthers in a Class 3 District 7 battle on Monday, April 29. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 3-9. Monroe City lost 15-3 in their recent non-league battle against Mark Twain (Center, MO)
