The Linsly Cadets baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Clay-Battelle Cee Bees to 1 in the Cadets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cadets (12-6) will now prepare for their match against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans go into the non-league match with a 17-7 record. In their last match, Morgantown was overwhelmed by Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Cee Bees (3-13) will now prepare for their match against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Preston ran past Liberty (Clarksburg, WV), 9-5, in a league match.
