In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Dunlap Eagles baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Galesburg Silver Streaks.
The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their game against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, Streator tipped Manteno (Manteno, IL), 8-7, in a league game.
The Silver Streaks (13-10) will now prepare for their game against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big Six game with a 12-8 record. In their last game, Moline tipped Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 16-6, in a non-league game.
