The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights got by the visiting Maple River Eagles baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Goodhue for a Hiawatha Valley bout on Friday, April 26. Kenyon-Wanamingo will face a Wildcats team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
Next, the Eagles face the Oakes Tornadoes (Oakes, ND) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 26. Maple River will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Tornadoes enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount (Fairmount, ND).
