The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) and the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), witnessed Lakes's baseball team gain a win over Lake Forest by a score of 7-1.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams go into the Northern Lake County match with a 14-7 record. In their last match, Grayslake Central was overwhelmed by Von Steuben (Chicago, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Scouts (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Indian Trail (Kenosha, WI). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 8-4 record.
