The Sandburg Eagles topped the visiting Stagg Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles now have a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way Central for a Southwest Suburban test on Tuesday, April 30. Sandburg will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Knights record now stands at 16-13.
The Chargers (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts enter the Southwest Suburban test with a 10-13 record. In their last test, Andrew gained a win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
