In Thursday's league test, the visiting Highland Park Giants lacrosse squad scored a good 10-2 victory over the Vernon Hills Cougars.
The Giants now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbrook South for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) in a test, on Tuesday, April 30. Vernon Hills will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
