Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Braves confront the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Friday, April 26. Bremen will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 5-1 league loss to Reavis (Burbank, IL).
The Bengals now have a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they host Crete-Monee for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Oak Forest will confront a Warriors team coming off a 5-0 league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-12.
