The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) and the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA), saw Fitzgerald's soccer squad beat Toombs County by a margin of 5-1.
The Purple Hurricane now sport a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Paran Christian for a non-league test on Monday, April 29. Fitzgerald will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Toombs County drops to 14-6 on the season.
