North Carolina High School Soccer - Northeastern overwhelmed by Perquimans

The Perquimans Pirates smashed the host Northeastern Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Thursday's non-league match.

The Pirates now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Camden County for a non-league match on Monday, April 29. Perquimans will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Northeastern drops to 4-14 on the season. The Eagles travel to Manteo (Manteo, NC) to encounter the Redskins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Monday, April 29. The Redskins come into the match with a record of 12-1. Manteo lost 4-0 in their recent non-league match against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA)
