Virginia High School Baseball - Deep Creek loses to Hickory

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Hickory Hawks baseball team scored a nice 11-0 victory over the Deep Creek Hornets.
The Hawks (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Granby overcame Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 19-0, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Nansemond River overcame Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 12-2, in a non-league game.
