The West Potomac Wolverines lacrosse team scored 11 points and limited the visiting West Springfield Spartans to 5 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Woodson edged Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
