The Great Bridge Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Lakeland Cavaliers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Great Bridge improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Monday, April 29. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 2-3. Nansemond River lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)

In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 30. Lakeland will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 7-0 record after their 18-0 non-league win over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).
