York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Dukes now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Downers Grove North for a challenge on Monday, April 29. York will face a Trojans squad coming off a 19-6 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Whitney Young falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Dolphins travel to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL) to face the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
