The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Islip Redmen (Islip Terrace, NY) and the host Islip Buccaneers (Islip, NY), saw East Islip's lacrosse team achieve victory over Islip by a margin of 14-8.

The Redmen (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky Point (Rocky Point, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Rocky Point was overwhelmed by Wantagh (Wantagh, NY), 14-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY). The Phantoms enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Bayport-Blue Point edged Rocky Point (Rocky Point, NY), 16-3, in a league challenge.
