The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) and the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV), saw University's lacrosse team top Fairmont Senior by a margin of 16-1.

The Hawks (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Buckhannon-Upshur was overwhelmed by Musselman (Inwood, WV), 12-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Polar Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Maroon Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record.
