In Thursday's non-league contest, the Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) lacrosse squad edged the host Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA), by a count of 6-5.
Coming up next, the Foxes confront the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 27. Fox Chapel will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Fightin' Planets come into the contest with a 11-1 record after their 23-2 league win over Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA).
The Talbots now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Plum for a WPIAL 2A 2 contest on Wednesday, May 1. Hampton will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-2 league loss to Indiana (Indiana, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.
