In Thursday's league test, the host Oceanside Sailors lacrosse squad scored a good 14-2 victory over the Hempstead Tigers.

The Sailors now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynbrook for a non-league test on Saturday, April 27. Oceanside will face a Owls squad coming off a 16-8 league loss to North Shore (Glen Head, NY). The Owls record now stands at 4-5.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Hicksville Comets (Hicksville, NY) in a Section 8 A test, on Tuesday, April 30. Hempstead will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Division (Levittown, NY).
