The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) and the host Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA), saw Gilbert's soccer squad get by Nevada by a margin of 2-1.
The Tigers now sport a 19-0 record. They play next when they host North Polk for a Raccoon River test on Saturday, April 27. Gilbert will meet a Comets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Comets record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Nevada drops to 10-7 on the season. The Cubs travel to Madrid (Madrid, IA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, April 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-7.
