Illinois High School Softball - Arcola bounces Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]

The Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) softball routed the host Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans (Kansas, IL), 16-4 in Thursday's league bout.

The Purple Riders (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Lincoln Prairie bout with a 15-10 record. In their last bout, Villa Grove toppled Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 8-3, in a league bout.

The Titans now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 27. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] will confront a squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL). The record now stands at 10-8.
