Indiana High School Softball - Austin loses to Charlestown

April 25, 2024: Charlestown, IN 47111

The Charlestown Pirates softball team scored 24 runs and limited the visiting Austin Eagles to 3 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Charlestown improves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN) to clash with the Senators in a non-league game on Friday, April 26. The Senators come into the game with a record of 8-0. West Washington won 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Lanesville (Lanesville, IN)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 27. Austin will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 9-9 record after their 11-2 league loss to Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN).
