Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East Liverpool Potters (East Liverpool, OH), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Big Reds now own a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Beaver for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Bellaire will battle a Beavers squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Struthers (Struthers, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, East Liverpool falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Potters travel to Union Local (Belmont, OH) to battle the Jets in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA challenge on Friday, April 26. The Jets enter the challenge with a record of 9-9. Union Local won 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Beallsville (Beallsville, OH)
