Scott City Rams (Scott City, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Charleston Bluejays (Charleston, MO), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Valle Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Scott City will face a Warriors squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Charleston falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Portageville (Portageville, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a Class 2 District 1 challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 17-10. Portageville lost 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Oran (Oran, MO)
