The Trinity Academy Knights got by the visiting Cheney Cardinals softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Knights (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Douglass (Douglass, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Central Plains battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Douglass was edged by Kingman (Kingman, KS), 12-3, in a league battle.

The Cardinals now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host El Dorado for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Cheney will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Andale (Andale, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
