Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kouts for a Porter County challenge on Monday, April 29. Hebron will face a Mustangs & Fillies squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Bremen (Bremen, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Chesterton falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lake Central (St. John, IN) to face the Indians in a Duneland challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 21-0.
