Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now sport a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Grassfield will face a Tigers squad coming off a 21-20 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Western Branch falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to face the Bulldogs in a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
