Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ider Hornets (Ider, AL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 21-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Payne for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26.

With the loss, Ider falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Hornets host North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL) to battle the Bison in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29.
