The Magnificat Blue Streaks softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Lake Catholic Cougars to 5 in the Blue Streaks non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Magnificat moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Blue Streaks travel to Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, April 29. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 0-5. In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) in a Crown game, on Saturday, April 27. Lake Catholic will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 8-8 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH).
