Illinois High School Softball - Latin knocked off by Walther Christian Academy

April 25, 2024: Melrose Park, IL 60160

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Latin Romans (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 15-2.

With the triumph, Walther Christian Academy moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Broncos host Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 27. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 9-9. Illinois Lutheran won 20-2 in their recent non-league contest against Heritage Christian (Dyer, IN)

In their next game, the Romans play the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a Independent Schools contest, on Friday, May 3. Latin will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
