The Normandy Invaders softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Maple Heights Mustangs to 3 in the Invaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Normandy improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Invaders host Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH) to clash with the Green Wave in a Great Lakes game on Monday, April 29. The Green Wave come into the game with a record of 6-3. Holy Name won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 26. Maple Heights will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Ironmen come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Beaumont School (Cleveland Heights, OH).
