Illinois High School Softball - Tremont bounces Midwest Central/Illini Central

Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Midwest Central/Illini Central Raiders (Manito, IL), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Turks now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fieldcrest for a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, April 26. Tremont will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-7 league loss to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Midwest Central/Illini Central falls to 9-13 on the campaign.
