Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 15-5 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage Hills for a Pocket challenge on Friday, April 26. Southridge will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Pike Central falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Chargers host Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN) to battle the Alices in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Alices enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Vincennes Lincoln lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN)
