The Auburn Rockets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting North Middlesex Regional Patriots to 1 in the Rockets non-league win on Friday.
The Rockets now hold a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they host Uxbridge for a South Worcester County - Central test on Monday, April 28. Auburn will play a Spartans team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-2.
With the defeat, North Middlesex Regional drops to 8-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Rams go into the test with a record of 7-3. Shepherd Hill Regional won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Burncoat (Worcester, MA)
