California High School Baseball - St. Francis held off by Bishop Montgomery

Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA), 9-7 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Bishop Montgomery advances its record to 14-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Salesian (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a Camino Real match on Tuesday, April 29. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 6-14. Salesian lost 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA)
The Sharks now have a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monterey for a PCAL - Gabilan match on Tuesday, April 29. St. Francis will battle a Dores squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Dores record now stands at 7-14.
