The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS) and the host De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS), saw Saint Thomas Aquinas's baseball team beat De Soto by a margin of 6-1.

The Saints (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Great Bend (Great Bend, KS). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Great Bend held off Emporia (Emporia, KS), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
