The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) and the visiting El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, KS), witnessed McPherson's baseball team knock off El Dorado by a count of 8-2.

The Bullpups now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collegiate for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28. McPherson will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 15-14 league loss to Andale/Garden Plain (Andale, KS). The Spartans record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, El Dorado drops to 6-11 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Iola (Iola, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Iola won 11-7 in their recent league challenge against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS)
