The Fruitport Trojans baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Traverse City Central Trojans to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.
The Trojans now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Calvin Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. Fruitport will play a Squires team coming off a 18-10 non-league win over Montague (Montague, MI). The Squires record now stands at 3-7.
With the defeat, Traverse City Central drops to 4-4 on the year. The Trojans host Midland (Midland, MI) to play the Chemics in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Chemics go into the test with a record of 4-0.
